Companies, organizations and funds to approach for cash, gear, vehicles, aviation and on-screen placement, for a series filmed near Osoyoos, BC, and airing on a major Canadian broadcaster. Alcohol and cannabis brands are left out. Each lead shows how to reach them: a named person where the organization publishes one, plus email, phone or application page and a source link. Mark whether a lead is a fit, set its stage as it moves along, keep your own contact notes, and correct the lead's own details when you learn something new. Press Save changes and everyone with access sees the update.
The shoot is on syilx (Okanagan) territory. Talk with the Osoyoos Indian Band and the Okanagan Nation Alliance about protocol and partnership before pitching them for money. Their support also makes every other pitch stronger.
Broadcasters have their own rules on product placement and may have exclusive advertisers (a telecom, bank or car brand, for example). Get their sponsor guidelines and conflict list before approaching brands in those categories.
Gear and vehicle brands usually give in-kind loans and placement more easily than cash. Banks, utilities and foundations prefer cash tied to youth, education or reconciliation outcomes. Screen funds need applications, usually through an Indigenous-owned production company.
A 1–2 page deck: logline, broadcaster and air window, audience, the Elders-and-youth story, sponsor tiers (credit, placement, social content, BTS footage), and a clear ask such as "3 side-by-sides for 4 weeks."
